Objectives
The overall expected effect of this course is to allow the agricultural information specialist:
- to consolidate the knowledge and skills acquired from previous courses;
- to improve their Internet research strategies and access to databases;
- to develop their skills to create, maintain and use co-operative databases within a network framework; and
- to acquire the necessary skills to disseminate databases via the Internet.
Expected Results
- Improved access to agricultural resources for the institutions;
- Improved access to institutional information and information about associates via the Internet;
- Improved resource sharing of agricultural data;
- Autonomy in supplying and using co-operative databases on the Internet;
- Greater institutional visibility of the institutions via the internet
- Added value to institutional information products and services.
