How to order publications from CTA

Our Publications Distribution Service (PDS) operates on a subscription basis. The subscriptions are free-of-charge.

If you live in an ACP country and work in agricultural and rural development, you (or preferably your organisation) can apply to become a subscriber. All you need to do is open the PDS application and order form (also available in Portuguese), print it out, fill it in and send it to CTA at our address in The Netherlands. If you are a student or a farmer, you need to apply for a subscription through an organisation; e.g., college, university or farmers' organisation.

Each publication in our catalogue has a nominal value in credit points. When your application is approved, you will get a free subscription to Spore, and receive a number of credit points to use over a period of 12 months. Using our publications order form (B), you can order publications up to the total value of your credit points. Any credit points remaining at the end of the 12-month period will be carried over to the next year.

If you order a publication from the PDS, it should leave the distributor within 3 days of receiving your order.

Only ACP-based persons or organisations are eligible to participate in the subscription service. If you live in an EU country and are active in ACP agricultural and rural development, you (or your organisation) can apply for a free subscription to Spore. Go to PDS application and order forms, print out form (C), fill it in and send it to CTA at our address in The Netherlands.

If you wish to obtain CTA publications but have used up all your credit points or are not eligible for the subscription service, you can purchase publications from SMI, our commercial distributor . Or, in the case of co-publications, you can buy them from our co-publishing partners or through a bookshop.
