| Dr Charles Mataya is the Director APRU and a Senior Lecture at Bunda College of Agriculture. Dr Mataya obtained his Ph.D. from University of Alberta in Canada. As a Director he is responsible for Planning, Administration and Coordination of Collaborative Research, Consultancy and Outreach in Food, Agricultural and Natural Resources Policy. He also a supervises graduate students in their research works |
Stanley Khaila PhD, Michigan State University.Professional Agricultural Extension and Rural Sociologist with a minor in Agricultural Economics. Extensive experience in lecturing at under graduate level and in management of training and research institutions. Has policy making experience on a number of policy making committees and boards.Is currently Country partner for the Southern Africa Democracy Barometer (SADB)and the Afrobarometer.Is also a member of the 2020 Vision Network for East Africa, IFPRI, Kampala Uganda. |

| Mr Killy Sichinga is a Senior Research Fellow at APRU and a Lecture at Bunda College of Agriculture. Mr. Killy Sichinga holds a Masters Degree majoring in Statistics, obtained from University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. As a Senior Research Fellow he is responsible for conducting field research, policy analysis, writing proposals and reports on statistical issues mostly to do with policy, planning and development. | Mr. Charles Blessings Laurence Jumbe is a Research Fellow at APRU. He is currently studying for Ph.D. at the Norway University in Norway. Mr. Jumbe holds a Masters Degree majoring in Economics, obtained from University of Malawi. He initiates proposals for submission to respective institutions for funding, designing methodologies for conducting field survey or research, implementation / administration and data analysis, disseminate research results through publications, study reports, working papers, policy briefs, seminar papers and outreach/training activities of the Unit. He is responsible for policy research related to Production Economics, Econometric, Modeling and Forecasting, Macroeconomic Analysis, Project Monitoring and Evaluation and Environmental and Natural Resources Economics. | Mr. Madola holds a Masters Degree majoring in Economics, obtained from University of Malawi. As a Research Fellow Mr. Madola undertakes research and consultancies . He has conducted individually and in collaboration with others research in Real Exchange rate and Agricultural Exports, Beneficiary Impact Assessment of the Fisheries Development Project, Preliminary Assessment of the Impact of Privatization and the Private Sector Development Project Baseline Survey among others. He has been involved in a wide range of research activities, more especially those related to Rural Financial Markets and Household Food Security. | Mr. Henry Kwavale is a Programme Manager at APATU. Mr Kwavale holds a degree of Masters of Business Administration (MBA) obtained from Durham University Business School of the United Kingdom. As a Programme Manager, Mr Kwavale is involved in designing and managing short courses related to Agricultural Policy. Besides managing short course, he also teaches Agri-business management to Agricultural Economics undergraduate students |
