About 60 participants representing federations of farmers' organisations, support organisations and donors involved in development activities of farmers' organisations will be invited. Research institutes and universities interested in the theme of farmers' associations will equally be associated. They are categorised as follows: federations of farmers' organisations (50%), support organisations (30%) and others partners such as decision makers and donors like, the French Co-operation, GTZ, IUFRO, IFAD, FAO, SOS Faim Belgium, AFDI, Sokoïne University of Agriculture (Tanzania), University of Maidiguri (Nigeria (20%).

The seminar will be held in French and in English with simultaneous translation facilities.
