CTA's Strategic Plan and Framework for Action 2001-2005

The Strategic Plan was formulated in 2001 and implemented in 2002. It defines the path that CTA will follow in the medium term. It sets out the ways in which we will try to meet the needs of our stakeholders and partners, working within our available resources (human and financial) and according to our mission and objectives as determined by the Cotonou Agreement, 2000.

The Plan describes CTA's role as a broker between ACP and EU organisations and professionals. And it sets out our responsibility for facilitating dialogue and the exchange of information, primarily through partnerships, in order to build the capacity of ACP countries to further their own agricultural and rural development.
